  • Startup: While your computer is booting up, you can access BIOS settings. In other words, immediately after you power on your desktop or laptop, but before it has loaded your operating system.

 

  • Press the right key: Immediately press F2, F10, F12, Delete, or Esc after pressing the power button. The exact key is displayed on the screen and varies by manufacturer. You have only a few seconds to press the key before your OS starts loading.
