Most Normal cycles finish in about 2 to 3 hours. Eco often runs longer, since it saves energy with lower temperatures and careful rinsing. Quick cycles can be under an hour for light soil. Real timings shift with inlet temperature, soil sensors, and how well you load the racks.

Three hours usually means the machine is using an energy saving logic. It heats water gently, recirculates it efficiently, and extends time to compensate. Cold inlet water, hard water without salt, or a dirty load can be added in minutes. Check filters and spray arms to prevent slowdowns.
