  • contains video, photographs, or images of another person age 18 or older without his or her express written consent and permission or those of any minor (regardless of whether you have consent from the minor or his or her legal guardian).
  • tries to gain unauthorised access or exceeds the scope of authorised access (as defined herein and in other applicable Codes of Conduct or End User Access and License Agreements) to the Sites or to profiles, blogs, communities, account information, bulletins, friend request, or other areas of the Sites or solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users;
  • Engages in commercial activities and/or sales without Vijaysales's prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising and pyramid schemes, or the buying or selling of "virtual" items related to the Sites. Throughout this Terms of Use,Vijaysales.com's "prior written consent" means a communication coming from Vijaysales.com's legal department, specifically in response to your request, and specifically addressing the activity or conduct for which you seek authorization;
  • solicits gambling or engages in any gambling activity which Vijaysales.com, in its sole discretion, believes is or could be construed as being illegal;
  • contains viruses, time bombs, trojan horses, cancelbots, worms or other harmful or deleterious components or devices;
  • interferes with another user's use and enjoyment of the Sites or any other individual's user and enjoyment of similar services; or
  • Refers to any website or URL that, in the sole discretion of Vijaysales.com, contains material that is inappropriate for the Sites, contains content that would be prohibited on the Sites, or violates the letter or spirit of these Terms of Use.

You must use the Sites in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. Illegal and/or unauthorised uses of the Sites, including without limitation, collecting usernames and/or email addresses of registered members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email and unauthorised framing of or linking to the Sites, are not permitted. Term of VS+ Extended Warranty

You can opt to protect your device for up to 4 additional years. The term of VS+ Extended Warranty available is based on what the normal life cycle of the device is supposed to be. While opting for VS+ Extended Warranty for your device, please keep in mind that the total term of the manufacturers’ warranty and term of VS+ Extended Warranty does not exceed 5 years.

For e.g.: If your Air Conditioner has 1 year manufacturers’ warranty, you can opt for VS+ Extended Warranty for up to 4 additional years. However, if your Air Conditioner comes with 2 years manufacturers’ warranty, you can opt for VS+ Extended Warranty for maximum 3 additional years.

Raising a Service Request

The worst has happened; your device has suffered a breakdown. Do not worry; we are here to help you.

1.
Call us on 022 6622 7722 or email us on vscaremumbai@vijaysales.com within 7 days and tell us about malfunction that has occurred.
2.
Keep copies of your purchase invoice bearing the IMEI/Serial number ready.
3.
Ensure that the IMEI/Serial Number on your device matches the one that is mentioned on the purchase invoice.
4.
We will keep you posted regarding the progress of the Service Request every step of the way.
What Should You Keep In Mind
1.
We will gladly service as long as the plan is active and has not expired. Also, the malfunction needs to have occurred during the term of VS+ Extended Warranty and not prior to it.
2.
Malfunctioning accessories or consumable items like filters for water purifiers are not covered here. A full list of these items is available on our website.
3.
The device needs to have minimum 12 months’ manufacturer’s warranty that is applicable in India. Please ensure that you do not modify the device, perform unauthorised repairs or use it commercially. All these actions void the manufacturer’s warranty and subsequently VS+ Extended Warranty as well.
4.
We will not be able to cover those devices that are bought outside India. However, if the device that you have bought in India, breaks down while travelling abroad, we will cover it.
5.
Malfunction should not be on account of normal wear and tear.
6.
VS+ Extended Warranty covers every issue in the device that occurs organically or in simple terms “on its own” and without any external factor. That means issues like physical damage, liquid damage, power surges etc. are outside the scope of the program.
7.
International Coverage – If the device breaks down abroad, we will still cover it. You can get it back to India, we will provide our usual Pick – Repair – Deliver back to you service.
FAQs

What is the term of the service?

VS+ Extended Warranty is applicable for up to 4 additional years after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty. However, the sum of manufacturer’s warranty and VS+ Extended Warranty should not exceed 5 years.

Can I extend the warranty on my phone for 2 more years?

VS+ Extended Warranty is available for 1 additional year on Mobile Phones and Tablets.

3.
How many times will the device be repaired?

There is no limit on the number of service requests you can raise against VS+ Extended Warranty. We will keep repairing the device till the total costs of all repairs do not exceed the value of the device. However if for any 1 Service Request, the cost of repairs is greater than the current/last available market value of the device, the device will be replaced. Replacement is provided in the form of new or refurbished device or Gift Cards

I changed my mind and I want to cancel the VS+ Extended Warranty plan. Can I get a refund?

The VS+ Extended Warranty plan can be cancelled within 30 days, provided you have not already filed a Service Request. Also, a refund for the same will issued.

5.
What if the device cannot be repaired?

For brands that do not repair damaged parts or if the device cannot be repaired due to unavailability of spare parts, we will provide you with an equal or equivalent replacement device which may or may not be a new piece.

What if I do not want to avail of the Pick & Drop services, can I get the device repaired on my own?

Yes, you can get the device repaired on your own. Please keep in mind that we need to be informed about the damage BEFORE submitting the device to the nearest Authorised Service Centre.

7.
How many times can I avail the Preventive Maintenance feature?

You can take advantage of the Preventive Maintenance feature according to the number of years in your VS+ Extended Warranty. If you have opted for a 2 year VS+ Extended Warranty, you will be entitled for 2 preventive maintenance check-ups from purchase of device till expiry of VS+ Extended Warranty. We will be providing 1 preventive maintenance (dry service) for Air Conditioners & 1 preventive maintenance for Water Purifiers.

8.
How will I know if the device will be picked up or if you will send a technician at home for repairs?

This is generally decided based on the category of your device. For Large Appliances and Televisions, we will co-ordinate with Service Centres and send a technician home based on your convenience. Wherever it is not possible to send the technician home for repairs, we will pick them up and send it to the Service Centre for repairs. If the technician that comes home for repairs is unable to repair the device on-site, we will have it transported to the nearest Service Centre free of cost for repairs.

What are other examples of specific issues arising out of normal wear and tear that are not covered under VS+ Extended Warranty?

Some examples of problems occurring due to wear and tear include the following. However, please note this is not a comprehensive list:

  • Issues in the cavity of a Microwave
  • Empty cartridges in a Printer
  • Damages to hinges of a laptop
  • Breakage of the blades of a Mixer or Juicer

VS+ Extended Warranty is a service that is powered by OnsiteGo (Onsite Electro Services Private Limited).
2.
Non-fulfilment of any conditions set out in this document may cause the rejection of your request; hence we solicit your co-operation to ensure we are able to provide you a perfect service experience.
3.
We shall not be liable for delay or failure in furnishing services including suspension of Service Assurance in the event of strike, government action, act of God, disruption in global supply chains or any other cause beyond our control.
4.
Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited & OnsiteGo will not be liable for indirect damage caused due to improper functioning of the product, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, business interruption, loss of data, lost revenue, loss of use, inconvenience, mental or physical stress or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, or special, incidental, or consequential damages.
5.
The device for which VS+ Extended Warranty has been purchased should not have any other Care Pack/Insurance or Insurance linked plan/Extended Warranty/Maintenance Contract, apart from the manufacturer’s warranty.
6.
Marketing brochures are meant purely for educating customers and do not have any commercial value.
7.

Inclusions in scope of work for Split A/c installation: - Installation of Indoor and Outdoor units, Interconnecting Indoor and Outdoor unit with piping.

  • HOW WILL I RECEIVE A REFUND FOR MY OLD/EXCHANGED DEVICE IF I HAVE RETURNED THE ORDER?

    • Exchange of old device is non-returnable post old device pick up completion.

  • HOW WILL I RECEIVE A REFUND FOR MY NEW DEVICE AND OLD/EXCHANGED DEVICE IF I HAVE RETURNED THE ORDER BEFORE GETTING DELIVERY OF THE NEW DEVICE?

    • A: Before Delivery of New Device:

    If you are cancelling new device and exchange order before getting delivery of new device then Vijay Sal es will refund the new device cost as per our refund policy. Exchange order of old device willnot proceeding for the pick-up.

    B: After Delivery of New Device:

    If you are cancelling new device and exchange order after getting delivery of new device and pick up done of old device then Vijay Sales will refund the new device cost post deducting of exchange trade -in (Bonus) amount as per the refund policy (incase it is applied)as per the refund policy and exchange of old device is non-returnable.

  • DO I NEED TO PAY ANY ADDITIONAL FEES TO AVAIL THE EXCHANGE OFFER?

    • No, there are no additional fees charged for availing the exchange offer at the moment.

  • WILL I RECEIVE THE EXCHANGE BONUS DISCOUNT IF I DECIDE TO RETURN THE PRODUCT PURCHASED WITH AN EXCHANGE?

    • No, you will not receive any refund for the exchange bonus discount as it is a limited-time promotional offer. Additionally, there is currently no additional fee charged for availing the exchange.

MYVS Rewards Loyalty Programme

Loyalty Terms and Conditions

MYVS Rewards is a card-less Loyalty Programme from Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited and is open to all Indian citizens above age of 18 years only.

The programme is offered together with any purchase made at Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited outlets or https://www.vijaysales.com.

A member can also sign up for the programme at the outlet or by visiting https://www.vijaysales.com.

As the members’ mobile number would be his / her primary identification for earning MYVS Reward points under the programme, the member’s mobile number should be required at the time of purchasing or enrolling of MYVS Rewards programme.

The MYVS Reward points can neither be encashed, nor be transferred to another member account.

By providing his / her mobile number, the member hereby agrees and consents to receive communications through Text Messages & E-mailers from Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited, its affiliates & any third-party contractors engaged in connection with the Programme for on-going promotions, announcements, offers, coupons, new product launches and transactions (collectively, "Communications") from Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited from time to time on the contact details provided. This consent shall override any Do-Not-Disturb (DND) settings that may have been opted for by the member.

As a pre-condition, a customer is required to provide mandatory information including his / her full name, valid & active Indian mobile number and accept such terms and conditions as may be prescribed under the membership programme and updated from time to time.

Failure to provide correct information and / or registered mobile number at the time of billing may result in the reward points due for that purchase not being credited to the member's account.

Post completion of transaction, any request for redemption of points will not be entertained.

In case, a member under the MYVS Rewards programme intends to unsubscribe from the promotional messages received under the Loyalty Programme, he/she write to loyalty@vijaysales.com. The member will be unsubscribed from the promotions list in a maximum of 7 working days.

In case, any customer who has unsubscribed from promotional messages, purchases products from any Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited store or https://www.vijaysales.com and intends to check and / or redeem balance points, will receive communication considered as transactional by Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited via E-mailers or SMS’s and pertaining to the purchase and will not receive communications of on-going promotions, announcements, offers, coupons & new product launches.

Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited will not be considered responsible or liable for any member correspondence lost or delayed through SMS, E-mail and / or any other mode of communication due to DND/SPAM and / or any other reason.

Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited reserves the right to terminate the membership on grounds of misuse, fraud or supplying false or misleading information to Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited.

Benefits derived from MYVS Rewards programme are exclusively for retail billing customers and cannot be clubbed with Special / Bulk / Corporate/ Employee programme.

Benefits of MYVS Rewards is for retail billing only. Benefits cannot be availed on Company or Institutional billings.

A MYVS Rewards programme member is entitled to earn 0.75% of the final purchase amount as reward points. Accumulated points can be redeemed at any Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited outlet at ₹1 per point by providing the registered mobile number at the billing desk.

Loyalty points are not applicable to bulk buyers, dealers, and resellers.

Final purchase value will be calculated excluding any reward points that the customer redeems at the billing desk.

Reward points will not be issued on the value of points being redeemed by the member.

To redeem the MYVS Rewards Points, members will have to visit any Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited outlet. Accumulated points cannot be redeemed online at https://www.vijaysales.com.

MYVS Rewards points will be credited against the registered mobile number after 7 days of invoice generation.

MYVS Rewards points can be redeemed only after 7 days of point being credited against the members’ mobile number.

MYVS Rewards points earned would be valid for a period of 2 years from the date of invoice generation. If the same is not redeemed within a period of 2 years, such MYVS Rewards Points will automatically lapse.

MYVS Rewards points once lapsed or redeemed against a purchase cannot be re-credited or reversed.

In case, a member returns the product purchased by him, the points earned by the member for such a purchase made, will be debited from his MYVS Rewards account.

In case, a member has redeemed points that were earned from previous purchases made by him / her and later wishes to return and seek refund for such previously purchased product/s, the value of points that were earned on such previously purchased product/s will be deducted from his MYVS Rewards account and a refund will be initiated accordingly.

In the above scenario, if the amount cannot be deducted from MYVS Rewards account for any reason, the value of points that were earned on such previously purchased product/s will be deducted at ₹1 per point from the refund amount.

MYVS Rewards Points will not be awarded on purchase of Gift Vouchers / Gift Cards.

MYVS Rewards Points cannot be redeemed in the same bill in case the member intends to make a payment via Gift Vouchers / Gift Cards / Coupons.

Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited reserves the right to add, alter, amend and modify the clauses under MYVS Rewards programme at any given time without assigning any reason.

Management of Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited has the sole discretionary power / right to close MYVS Rewards programme and any other coupons / vouchers / offers associated with but not limited to the programme at any given time without assigning any reason.

Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited is solely responsible for the execution and administration of the Programme.

A registered member needs to produce a copy of the bill in case of any discrepancy in point’s updating.

Any dispute arising shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only.

These terms & conditions shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency between these terms and / or any advertising, publicity and / or other material relating to and / or in connection with the programme.

By quoting his /her mobile number to Vijay Sales (INDIA) Private Limited and/or any programme Partners, he/she has read and understood the terms and conditions of MYVS Rewards programme, and confirms that he /she is bound by such terms and conditions.
