Mi LED TV 4 PRO now exclusively available at a Vijay Sales store near you!

Mi TV parent company Xiaomi ties up with Vijay Sales to boost it’s leadership on the offline smart TV market. Their range of smart TVs were previously sold only in Mi Stores and on their website.

Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, with its latest foray into the consumer electronics market, is known to launch it’s products though it’s own channels. The company has both online and offline channels, that include their own official website and Mi stores across the country. Their smartphone series have garnered tremendous success in the Indian consumer market. Owing to it, they launched their range of televisions as well, managing to create consumer leadership in the market with their smartLED TV, Mi TV. However to increase its market share offline and launch the new Mi LED TV 4 PRO, the company has decided to tie up with us.

 

 

Mr. Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP, MD at Xiaomi India took to social media on june 10th and shared his excitement on the prospect of this partnership. The tie-up was hosted and received by our own Mr. Nilesh Gupta, MD for Vijay Sales India. The new model would be an offline only exclusive in the arrangement between our companies. The new TV will be sold through 80 of our Vijay Sales stores across the country.

The Mi LED TV 4 PRO has a 55-inch screen with an ultra-thin profile. The LED display offers a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution and there is a 4K HDR panel as well. The 4.9mm thin profile has Xiaomi proudly claiming that it is the world’s thinnest smartLED TV on the market. Additionally, Mi LED TV 4 PRO comes with dual 16W stereo speaker set-up and boasts of DTS-HD surround sound for an immersive cinematic experience. The TV’s unique voice search feature conveniently lets the user search and discover their choice of content easily across DTH as well as online content.

Xiaomi’s innate consumer research on the Indian market has led to the integration of PatchWall, their content sourcing interface. It boasts a library of over 850,000+ hours of content from providers such as Hotstar, Hungama Play, Voot, Eros Now, Zee5, Alt Balaji, HOOQ, EpicON, Republic, Bloomberg, SunNXT, Flickstree and Viu.  

As mentioned, We will be making this 55-inch ultra-thin LED TV available in over 80 of our stores spread across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat and Delhi NCR starting Friday, 7 June 2019. Xiaomi has grown to capture 34% market share within the offline segment, thereby the position of number one smart TV brand in India three consecutive quarters on. Through our partnership, we wish to continue to enjoy this leadership moving forward.
